My first yacht - GIORGIO - MG SPRING 25

The first yacht we bought was Giorgio - a MG Spring 25 - wing keel with twin rudders - 3/4 fractional rig - 10 hp Yanmar GM10 single cylynder diesel engine with fixed  2 blade prop.

Giorgio was classed as a 6 berth with double aft cabin, separate heads - double berth at the bows and single berths each side of saloon table.

Designed by Tony Castro and built by Northshore

Was a fast cruiser racer - bit on the tender side - reefing early was paramount - an ideal yacht to start sailing.

Giorgio and Arabella together - a common scene for several years as the 2 yachts cruised the Bristol Channel
